Mission Team Update

Blessings family, friends, and prayer partners,

Just received word from our team leader Doris Dansoa. Our missionaries have arrived safely in Accra, Ghana, Africa. They are excited to be on African soil after a long.....17 hr flight. They are focused on a God centered mission and ready to serve. This is the largest Ghana team we have sent out. Praise God for all our missionaries that have given of their finances, time, skills & talents to serve God in the mission fields of Africa. We pray that you will begin to seek God on how you can be a part of this great movement of missionaries that are on mission with God.Our mission team will continue to focus, and build on established relationships with our Ghanaian brothers & sisters as they partner together to serve the people of Ghana, Africa.

Mission Focus:
Evangelism: Lead by Cherril S and team will share the gospel of Jesus with God's people on the streets and villages of Ghana.
Conferences: Lead by Pastor John W ,will be facilitating a pastoral conference and workshops with local churches, on Self Confrontation, BCF. {the Biblical Counseling Foundation}
Medical Support: lead by Dr. Walker in partnership with 4 Ghanaian Doctors and mission team. They will provide medication, hands on medical treatment, optometry services and blood testing.
Begoro Boarding School & Youth Education: Lead by Ericka F will provide A.I.D.S. awareness, sex & STD training to young men & women Ages 13 to 18.
Prayer Team: Lead by Nicky L. The prayer team interced daily for the mission team & for God's mission to be accomplished.
Salvation Army Rehab Center: Lead by Jennifer B, this team in partnership with Rehab Center staff, will provide hands on physical therapy to children with disabilities & training for parents, care givers & staff. They will also have educational activities with the children such as crafts and bible study.
MVCC Land Development: Lead by Chris F in partnership with land developers. Chris and team will be submitting land development plans for approval, & providing building improvements. (The team will paint a mural at the Salvation Army rehab facility).

This will be the first of three updates. There will be several days until we hear from our missionaries. They will be ministering in the village. Thereafter, there will be an update and lastly there will be an exit report of the missionaries departing for home.
