A Special Message from Moses & Rachel Wamaitha

We would like them to know that we are praying for them and we believe that God's miraculous power will continually be manifested through them. I was sleeping one day last week as I normally do in order to wake up and go to work, I heard Moses praying with the boys as they were going to sleep and I over- heard them mention Pastor John and the team in Ghana. We are all praying for them individually and as a family.
Be blessed,
With lots of love,
Rachel

A Special Prayer for the Missionaries

Dear Lord,

I just thank you for giving MVCC the opportunity to serve you on such and awesome magnitude. Lord thank you for letting my Aunt Joanie join MVCC on this mission. Lord thank you for Doris, her family and their hospitality. Lord I thank you for the blessings that are going to come from this trip, for the village and for our team. Lord continue to touch Pastor Wells with Your healing hands, let the Holy Spirit take over him as he teaches the ministers. Lord have Your way with our team as they tend to the needs of those You put in their path , for medical, physical, educational, social, environmental and most definitely spiritual uplifting. Lord let them spread Your gospel like wild flowers. Lord we love, honor, and praise You.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Message for Pastor Wells

Praise God for those on the Mission field.

Please let Pastor Wells know that my father-in-law Floyd asked about going on mission in Africa. He is interested in particulars and duration of trips. He has an active interest. I did not see that coming. The Lord did. I know that will blow him a way.

Mission Team Update: Pastor Wells & Sis Patrice

Hi Family,
I received a call from Doris this afternoon
Pastor John & Sis Patrice Wells, have arrived in Ghana! They are tired from the long....... flight. They will rest and join the team in the village of Begoro. After that a 4hr bus ride of course. The weather in Begoro at this time is 83 degrees with 82% humidity. Praise GOD! This time of year is considered the rainy season. We pray the weather stays moderate.
They will begin to prepare for the Pastors conference starting Wed. Please continue to pray for our pastor, the first lady and the team as they serve in the hot sun of Begoro. We pray for sweet cool breezes and moderate weather to comfort the team during those hot uncomfortable days in the village. We pray for God's anointing, strength for the tired bodies & minds and for God's mission to be accomplished.

Refer to your itnerary each day so you know what the team is doing & as a reminder to pray for them.

Pray without ceasing
Patricia W

Mission Team Update

We have received a mission up date from Doris. The team has recovered from their 17 hr fight. They toured the capital of Ghana Accra, exchanged their currency, and visited the ruins of the slave castles.

The team enjoyed a special time of fellowship & worshiped with Doris family & friends of the local church in Accra. They also, enjoyed a delicious Ghanaian lunch before they began their 4hr journey on the roads of Accra into the village of Begoro by bus. This is the 6th year Mountain View in joint servant hood with several churches have served and built relationships in Ghana.

Once they arrive to the village, they will begin their set up to minister & serve the people of Begoro. We may or may not hear from the team for several days.

This is a time to join Nicky Leflore and the prayer team in Ghana, in earnest intercessory prayer around the clock for God's mission to be accomplished.

Proverbs. 16:24 Pleasant words are like honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Keep praying !
